Quoting Shakespeare...

Quoting Shakespeare makes more sense on some nights than others.

"To be? Or not to be? That is the question

Whether its nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune…
or to take arms against a sea of troubles… and by opposing, end them?

To die;

To sleep;

No more!

And by a sleep to say, we end the heartache and the thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to - it’s a consummation devoutly to be wished!

To die;

To sleep!

To sleep, perchance to dream: Ay, there’s the rub!
For in that sleep of death, what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil must give us pause."

Quoting Shakespeare makes more sense on some nights than others. Like it does right now.

The right perspective

They say, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach".
I say "No".
Generations of women have been misled by this blasphemy. I say, my love shall belong to the man who will eat whatever I cook. Happily.
Thank you.

Signing-in from Jo-berg

It has been drizzling all day in Jo-berg (short for Johannesburg). I am sitting by my hotel window, which opens to a road on which a few random cars pass by to break the monotony of the sound of falling rain. The city drenched in sweet rain reminds me of Monsoon back home in India. The onset of Monsoon often marked the start of the school year. As a kid, I was always fascinated by the smell of fresh new books and raincoats. After a rainy day like this, my sister and I used to run to clean the mud from our school shoes before gulping down two cups of chai each. Then I used to sit by the window of my room and paint. How time flies!
